Financial Accountant Job Description EDM Recycling is seeking a financial accountant to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will be involved with budgeting, managing tax payments, and conducting cost and revenue analysis. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen. We help businesses securely retire and recycle their electronic assets through a variety of services, such as: data destruction, data center decommissioning, electronics recycling, and more. Our clients vary from mid-sized companies to S&P 500 companies across the United States. Job Responsibilities Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities) Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements) Forecast costs and revenues Manage tax payments Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department) Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies Conduct detailed risk analysis to assess potential investments Analyze financial trends Perform month-end and year-end close processes Skills and Abilities Fluency in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures Solid knowledge of accounting regulations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education and Experience A minimum of 5 years proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance CPA preferred Proficiency in both English and Chinese is a plus EDM Recycling is glad to offer employment sponsorship to qualified and dedicated candidate.
