seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our EGS
(Electrical, Gas and Solar) team as a Test Technician I. This role
involves working closely with a team of professionals to ensure our
products meet rigorous safety and performance standards. Job
Description: As a Test Technician I, you will be responsible for
conducting electrical testing on products and appliances in
compliance with various standards, including UL, CSA, Energy Star,
DoE, CEC, IEC, and more. Your attention to detail, ability to work
with testing equipment, and teamwork skills will be vital to
ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety
standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct electrical testing on
products and appliances in accordance with UL, CSA, Energy Star,
DoE, CEC, IEC, and other standards or specifications. Work closely
with the project handler to ensure that testing is completed in a
timely and accurate manner. Build and set up test configurations
and equipment to ensure effective testing. Proficiently use tools
and testing equipment to carry out necessary tests. Maintain a
clean and organized laboratory facility. Qualifications: High
school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. 0-1 years of work
experience in Electrical Product Testing preferred. Mechanical
aptitude and familiarity with tools and testing equipment. Strong
attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure and meet
deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Eagerness
to learn and develop professionally in the field of electrical
product testing.
