The Quality Control Manger oversees the daily operation of the Quality Control Laboratories that include Microbiological and Analytical testing. The Quality Control Manager also ensures that all raw material testing, bulk and finished good testing is in compliance with all company SOP's and regulating agencies.Your Role

• Manage QC lab and Micro lab activities & staff
• Manage testing of raw materials, bulk and filled goods as outlined in SOP's.
• Responsible for all aspects of raw ingredient, product, and finished good analysis.
• Review and maintain product/goods specifications and masters.
• Develop and perform laboratory chemist/technician training programs.
• Establish and maintain SOP criteria for testing/analysis.
• Release of Raw Materials and Bulk products.
• Disposition and rejection of Raw Materials, Bulk products and Finished Goods.
• Communication/Collaboration with Customer Technical Staff.
• Manage Analytical Method Validations.
• GFCO primary contact.
• HOLD, Investigate OOS, Deviation, Customer Complaints, Quality Alerts and Quality Incidents related to Laboratory and Product specs.
• Manage instrument calibration and qualification programs.
• Manage the purchase of new equipment and repairs/maintenance.
• Manage purchase of Laboratory supplies, testing reagents; maintain safety stocks. Manage outside laboratory inspection/testing of raw ingredients, bulk product, and finished goods.
• Understand and exercise all safety requirements and procedures.
• Exercise and monitor GMP compliance in work environment.
• Manage resources and timelines for staff performance
• Inspection and maintaining of in-house standards in accordance with GMP's and SOPs.Your Skills
  • 5 years or more experience of formal laboratory experience or equivalent with 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Knowledge of computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Office) and ERP systems
  • Advanced statistical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership abilities with capacity to teach others
  • Knowledge of product manufacture and testing
  • Able to interface with all departments and various levels of employees as well as outside supplier
  • Superior problem solving, decision making and organizational skills..
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible and able to move from one type of task to another without loss of speed or efficiency.
