We are seeking someone to join our team in Chino, CA as a Manager, HR Business Partner, Logistics. In this role, you will assure strong partnerships to effectively guide and influence culture, leadership behaviors and implement best practices.
Responsibilities
As a Manager, HRBP, Logistics, you will:

  • Assure effective selection, performance management and succession planning processes that align with business objectives, maximize workforce competence and diversity, while minimizing risk to the organization.
  • Handle Employee Relations.
  • Manage 2 staff (HR Specialists & HR Representative)
  • Analyze data to:
    • Assess the state of talent in business units.
    • Assess current and future needs for talent.
    • Identify and communicate talent gaps.
    • Identify trends in performance issues/concerns and recommend proactive solutions.
    • Ensure organizational structure supports company strategic direction.
    • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with the management team and other internal partners.
    • Develop, implement, and continually improve to:
    • Ensure best practices in selection of external candidates and placement of internal candidates.
    • Ensure selection decisions lead to a diverse workforce.
    • Ensure fair and equitable compensation.
    • Ensure leadership continuity.
    • Assure the development, implementation, and on-going improvements of programs, processes, and training that are consistent with maintaining a respectful work environment and a high-performing organization.
    • Conduct exit interviews for associates to identify trends to help make proactive changes to assist with associate retention.
    • Develop successful on-boarding program partnership with hiring managers and corporate HR.
    • Investigate and respond, in a timely manner, to all state and federal claims, attorney letters and other legal matters as needed.
    • Provide training, development, and team building tools that enhances leadership skills and prepare talent for future growth.

        We seek people with these qualifications:
        • Must live or be local to Greater Minneapolis area (relocation not included)
        • 5+ years of retail store management experience (multi-unit management preferred)
        • Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store and with corporate partners
        • Demonstrates an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals
        • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis
        • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours
        • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet
          Work location is flexible if approved by the Company except that position may not be performed remotely from California, Colorado, Rhode Island, Washington State, Maryland, Nevada, Connecticut, or New York
