Doctor of Medicine | General Practice Location: Fontana, CA Employer: GHR Healthcare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Anesthesiologist – Full-Time Locum Tenens Location: Fontana & Ontario, CA Setting: Hospital Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months with option to extend Schedule: 4 days/week, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Saturday rotation) Weekend Coverage: Minimum 1 weekend per month Call: No call responsibilities Position Summary: A hospital system in Southern California is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide full-time coverage due to staffing shortages and overflow while recruiting. This is a long-term locum tenens opportunity in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: Administer general anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures Work closely with surgical teams and CRNAs in a care-team model Provide anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and occasional healthy pediatric cases No OB or cardiac cases Assist CRNAs as needed (rare occurrence) Document patient care using EPIC (Health Connect) Case Types Include: General Surgery Orthopedics Gynecology Urology ENT Plastics Healthy Pediatrics (standard cases only) Minimal Neuro (if any) Qualifications: Board Certified in Anesthesiology – Required Active California Medical License – Required Comfortable working in a collaborative care-team model Willing to commit to full-time schedule and weekend rotation
