About the Role: The Associate Dentist will play a crucial role in
providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their
oral health and overall well-being. This position involves
diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental
procedures, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene
practices. The Associate Dentist will work closely with a team of
dental professionals to create a welcoming and efficient
environment for patients. By building strong relationships with
patients, the Associate Dentist will contribute to the growth and
reputation of our practice. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance
patient satisfaction and promote long-term dental health within the
community. Minimum Qualifications: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited
dental school. Active California Dental License. CPR, BLS, and NPI
certifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a clinical
dental setting, particularly in a general practice. Familiarity
with dental software and electronic health records. Strong verbal
and written communication skills . Responsibilities: Conduct
comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral
health issues. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including
fillings, extractions, and root canals. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific
needs. Educate patients on preventive care and proper oral hygiene
techniques. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to
ensure smooth workflow and patient care. Skills: The required
skills for this position include strong clinical skills, which are
essential for performing various dental procedures accurately and
efficiently. Excellent communication skills are necessary to
effectively educate patients about their oral health and treatment
options. Interpersonal skills are vital for building rapport with
patients and creating a comfortable environment. Time management
skills will help the Associate Dentist prioritize tasks and manage
patient appointments effectively. Preferred skills, such as
proficiency in dental software, will enhance the efficiency of
record-keeping and patient management, contributing to a
streamlined practice.
