Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position near Bullhead City,

Setting : Outpatient, Inpatient Key Responsibilities: Coverage :
Provide ongoing Hematology and Oncology care, working closely with
another highly experienced full-time physician. Engage in both
clinic hours and hospital rounds, with a Monday through Friday
schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Focus on high patient volume and
hospital consults, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients. No
call duties are required, allowing for a balanced workload focused
primarily on clinical care. Clinical Requirements : Candidates must
be board certified in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in
Hematology and Oncology. Physicians should hold an active medical
license in Arizona (AZ) or be eligible for licensure through the
Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) . Required
certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS . The role
requires a clean professional history for expedited credentialing,
which typically takes about 45 days. Shifts: Clinic Hours and
Rounds : The position involves working in both clinic and inpatient
settings, managing 6-7 patients per day, with most being seen in
the clinic. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to
5:00 PM. The role does not include call responsibilities, allowing
physicians to focus on patient care during regular working hours.
Additional Details: Inpatient and Outpatient Focus : Physicians
will be responsible for both clinic visits and hospital rounds,
providing a comprehensive approach to patient care. The existing
full-time physician offers a supportive environment and can provide

EMR system, ensuring efficient documentation and patient
