Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 23, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Dept position at a Level 3 Trauma, Joint Commission-accredited community hospital in Lake Havasu City, AZ, requiring TNCC and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience. Details - Work setting is a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center that is Joint Commission accredited and a Certified Chest Pain Center - Emergency Department unit with 24 beds - Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and some pediatric patients with mixed medical presentations and varying acuity - Patient ratio is 1:4 - Equipment includes ultrasound, Bellmont Transfuser, Baxter IV pumps, Glidescope, BD IV products, and GE monitors in every room - EMR is MedHost EDIS - Schedule is nights, 7P–7A, four 12-hour shifts per week (4x12s) - Every other weekend required - May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility - 13-week contract Requirements - Active AZ or Compact RN license required - Required certifications: BLS and TNCC (RQI certifications are not accepted) - Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required - Trauma and STEMI experience required - Associate degree (AA) in Nursing or higher required - SSN and date of birth required for consideration - Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates Additional Information - Level 3 Trauma facility - Black scrubs required - Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months - Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment - Lake Havasu City offers outdoor recreation including fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking, as well as local dining and scenic mountain and lake views - Conveniently located within driving distance of Las Vegas (2.5 hrs), Phoenix (3.25 hrs), Grand Canyon National Park (3.5 hrs), and Los Angeles/San Diego (5 hrs) American Traveler Job ID P-681857.
