JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Ft Mohave, AZ 86426 Service Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: Aug 03, 2026 Jan 04, 2027 Call Schedule: 7a-7a Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 minutes Callback %: 7 Reason for Coverage: Scheduling Need Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Vendor COVERAGE DATES Jul 23, 2026 Jul 29, 2026 Aug 13, 2026 Aug 16, 2026 Oct 14, 2026 Oct 19, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Annual Deliveries: 525 Phone Consults: 2-3 Rounding: Both FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: I Beds in the dept: 8 EMR System: HMS Med Host and CPOE Support Staff: RNs: 2, MAs: 2, Office Staff: 3 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE OB Ultrasounds (Performance of, interpretation) Level I/Screening (viability) Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Routine delivery Vaginal Low forceps Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery C-section Breech Multiple births Abruptions VBAC's Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) Surgical gynecology Open Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation) Operative/major (includes diagnostic) (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's) Laser certification JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Certified Licenses: Licensed in AZ or Universal License (IMLC) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Fellowship: Preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide on-call coverage for Obstetrics & Gynecology services. Perform rounding on patients as required. Manage phone consults for patient care inquiries. Coordinate care for high-risk or trauma patients requiring transfer to a trauma hospital. Utilize HMS Med Host and CPOE for clinical documentation and order entry.
