Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist that will
be responsible for assisting customers with questions and resolving
any problems related to our products. The Customer Service
Specialist is the first point of contact for customers and it is
important that our representatives are able to maintain a positive
attitude and provide high quality customer service while handling a
high call volume. Prior experience working in a customer service or
retail role is preferred. Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Pay:
$20hr- $23/hr DOE Temp-to-Permanent Hire Position ** Must be
Covid-19 Vaccinated ** Requirements include: A welcoming,
personable demeanor and positive attitude Confidence and composure
during phone, email, and in-person interactions Proper telephone
and office etiquette Excellent verbal and written communication
skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Setting
appropriate priorities to ensure daily assignments are completed
and goals are met Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking
skills Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal
skills Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet
applications (Microsoft Office and Google Apps) Self-discipline to
work well independently and/or under limited supervision Ability to
work cooperatively and effectively with colleagues Willingness and
capacity to learn and retain information Attentiveness and
responsiveness to requests and correspondence Capacity to accept
feedback and/or guidance and adjust accordingly Professionalism,
diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact Responsibilities include:
Answering and routing incoming calls accurately Assisting the Sales
Team with daily tasks including filing and sample package
preparation/shipping Taking accurate messages from customers and
directing them to the correct sales representative Responding to
customer questions regarding products, services, prices,
availability, company policies, etc. Creating, updating, and
entering information into databases Updating and maintaining
accurate customer files and records, both physical and electronic
Preparing product quotes and detailed order confirmations Taking
and processing sales orders Obtaining deposits and payments from
customers, as needed Maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked
product sample room Enhancing knowledge of new products,
procedures, services, and tools by attending departmental and
training meetings Assisting team members with sales order
processing and filing, as needed Coordinating with team members and
other departments Performing general office and administrative
duties Keeping Management apprised of time required to complete
projects, assignments, and tasks as they are assigned Adhering to
company policies and procedures Continuously improving through
