Job Description HR Generalist is responsible for supporting people-related aspects that align with the employment cycle of our employees, including but not limited to; recruiting, on-boarding, leave of absence, employee relations, managing the performance review cycle, and off boarding employees. This position is critical for ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local laws along with clients Group policies allowing the company to provide a safe and fair work environment for its employees. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and interviewing in a fast paced environment. Develop sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates and manage new candidate sourcing avenues. Provide support to managers through designated areas of the hiring process Provide new hire orientation & onboarding process with all full-time and temporary employees Set up and coordinate with multiple departments on all new hire orientation schedules Ensure hourly performance reviews are completed along with providing support and assistance to managers as needed Assist where needed with performance or disciplinary issues as determined by HRBP Work with HRBP on employee relations issue to help resolve as needed Provide assistance to employees/managers regarding best direction for answers to questions Participate and assist with related safety programs Set up pre-employment and background screening for new hires Assist with Workers Comp by reporting injuries within 24 hours and setting up medical facility visits as needed with necessary updates on any Workers Comp ongoing cases to necessary contacts Manage temporary agency needs and work with agencies as required Maintain facility bulletin boards/message boards throughout the facility providing clear and updated communications to employees Assist with local training programs as directed Payroll/HRIS Provide assistance to employees regarding best direction for answers to questions Coordinate FMLA and Short-Term Disability and communicate with employee, manager, third-party administrator and HRBP as needed Collect, prepare, check and coordinate weekly & bi-weekly payroll Provide reports related to payroll to appropriate departments Primary contact for HCP timekeeping system issues, coordinate with shared service HRIS team to resolve system issues or concerns Assist managers/supervisors with timekeeping questions or problems Provide employee assistance with payroll self-service Oversee, monitor and coordinate updates to HRIS system with shared service HRIS and/or HRBP Administrative Coordinate and support annual open enrollment meetings Process and provide monthly reports as needed/requested Assist with interpreting, updating and communicating Group and/or local policy General filing and upkeep of employee personnel files Oversee HR related trainings and meetings (i.e. lunch, logistics, hotel) Prepare and process check requests/invoices Coordinate flowers, baby blankets and other administrative tasks per HR Policy Work with hiring department managers to support with equipment prior to DOH as needed Assist/Coordinate HR Projects as needed Position-specific Competencies Detail-oriented and organized in handling all aspects of Human Resources Provides highest level of customer service to employees by teaching and sharing knowledge Able to work with and through others Being responsible for a number of varied activities CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Strong knowledge of HRIS/Payroll system Strong knowledge of timekeeping system Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Working knowledge of HR employment laws and processes EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent HR related experience required At least 3-5 years experience working in HR in a manufacturing environment preferred WORKING CONDITIONS Normal Office Environment Average exposure to Manufacturing Environment Heavy Computer use Daily, weekly, monthly and annual deadlines Please call at 657-533-2980 or 909-361-4629 Apply online: www.driven-talent.com
