Ultimate Staffing Services is currently seeking a Dispatcher in Chino, CA.This is a direct hire opportunity offering great benefits.Job Responsibilities:- Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors using telephone- Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment- Prepare daily work and run schedules- Receive or prepare work orders- Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones- Must be able to handle 50+ calls an hour on the high end Skills needed:- Excellent Communication Skills: You will be listening and speaking to people by phone, often in some state of distress or in a loud environment. Your ability to listen, speak plainly and communicate effectively will be necessary- Ability to Multitask: Dispatchers often are moving a lot of people around at the same time, tracking their movements and keeping tabs on what they need- Must be able to work in high paced environment- Problem-Solving Skills: You will need to be able to prioritize the most important situations, and think quickly on your feet.- Must be able to handle high volume of calls- Must be proficient with Excel, Outlook, and Word- Salesforce knowledge preferred but nor required- Must demonstrate attention to detail- Suggested prior experience in transportation/construction- Must be familiar with locations and geography of Southern California- Must be able to work overtime if needed- Drug test and background check required We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
