Job Description Now Hiring Quality Control Leads in Chino, CA Shift: 6AM-2:30PM Pay: $16/HR The Quality Control Lead is a member of the facility Quality Department and gets functional direction from the Quality Assurance Manager. This position contributes to the success of Chino Personal Care by sampling the quality control plans or process control procedures that ensure production of the finished product to a standard, ensuring the overall quality of raw materials and finished products following Company Standards. The QC Lead works with a diverse group of employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (not in any priority): --- Maintain a safe working environment (and ensure personal safe working practices). --- Compliance with all employee job safety requirements and regulations required by company policies. --- Monitors daily QC Technician(s) activities to follow company policies. Provides feedback and recommends corrective actions. --- In the absence of the immediate supervisor, will assume necessary operational and administrative duties. --- Back up the Quality Control Technician(s) in case of absence. --- Serves as a substitute whenever Shift Technician on leave (emergency, vacation, sick, or FMLA). --- Able to perform pre-operational inspections and report any concerns. --- Responsible for reporting any quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Management. --- Inspection of the production line(s) and Finished Goods (weight, torque, vacuum, prime). --- Pull micro samples for all Finished Goods. --- Pull finished good retains (Beginning, middle, End). --- Perform inspection on Screening Department. --- Perform AQL on all incoming components (approve or reject) and outgoing ---kits.--- --- Verify COA against all incoming raw material and COC specifications or for all packaging materials. --- Verify shelf-life date of all incoming ingredients. --- Create and maintain product master---s samples. --- Maintain log and updates of Quarantine area --- Tests final product against established specifications to ensure product quality is met. --- Ensures that the correct case label, retail label, or inserts are used according to specification. --- Monitors plant operations to assure the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) are met. --- Inform management of any Quality issues or processes that become noncompliant with the specified requirement. --- Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to the Quality of the product, processes, Quality System. --- Serves as a resource for the production department as needed to ensure quality compliance. --- Performs other Quality Assurance related job functions assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager. --- Other duties may apply as required.
