Dock Worker PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME $18.21/hr Xpress Global Systems (XGS), a leader in trucking and logistics for 35 years, is looking for hardworking, Dock Workers with a relentless dedication to safety, quality, and customer service. Our employees enjoy:--- Mon-Fri work week / No Weekends or Holidays--- 40+ hours a week / Overtime Opportunities--- PTO & Holidays on Day 1--- Benefits -- Medical, Vision, & DentalXGS dockworkers are responsible for loading and unloading freight by hand or by using a pallet jack, sorting product and ensuring that trailers are properly and accurately loaded. This position includes using a barcode scanner and helps to maintain the service center dock neat and orderly.*MUST HAVE 6 MOS Forklift Driving Experience* What the XGS Dock Worker will be doing...--- Load and unload trailers. May load or unload by hand, or with freight handling tools such as lift truck, pallet jack, or side cart--- Scan barcode on freight; ensure each freight movement is scanned for tracking to rack, floor or loading door--- Verify shipping information from the scan unit to ensure freight is labeled to go to the correct destination--- Attach barcodes to freight for tracking and routing--- Report overage, shortages and damages according to operating procedures--- Sort and segregate freight by destination.--- Verify freight counts--- Dock clean up as needed--- May include other duties as assigned by Management What XGS is looking for in a qualified candidate...--- High School or GED, desired--- Must be at least 18 years of age, required--- 6 mos operating forklift, required Have any questions??
