Job Description:

As a major exporter, the position offers an opportunity to deal directly with major ship lines, Maersk, MSC, Evergreen, etc.. It provides an amazing opportunity to engage with world-class logistics leaders. Specifically:

- Build/maintain strong relationship with ship lines to achieve competitive rates;
- Monthly rate shopping, negotiations;
- Manage equipment/space allocation; Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Lead the trucking manager to integrate trucking and ocean freight to create overall logistics solutions

Requirements:

- Positive attitude and team-work spirit; Leadership and self-motivation;
- Strong communication skills (in-person/written) and the ability to cultivate relationships;
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills; critical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems effectively;
- Professionalism and accountability in all aspects, including time management; being flexible and work under high stress conditions
- Travel required from time to time
- Related experience is a plus but not a must
- Bachelor degree or higher
