Job Details

Responsibilities
Responsible for overall health & safety regulations
Make worksite assessments, determine risks, assess potential hazards, implement controls to mitigate risk
Investigate worksite incidents, maintain and evaluate incident and loss records, and prepare emergency response plans
Take samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinate removal of hazards
Train employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Ensure compliance with federal/state health & safety regulations and maintain proper records and documentation
Facilitate Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections
Act as emergency operations planning and facilities coordinator
Develop, implement and monitor safety programs for all company warehouse facilities
Conduct routine safety observations of facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and federal/state regulations
Maintain current knowledge of existing safety and health regulations

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in safety engineering, industrial engineering, occupational safety and health, or other related field preferred
7+ years Safety experience in a warehouse or industrial setting
Project Management experience
Preferred Certifications BCSP, CSP, OSHA
Role requires 25-50% travel for first 1-2 years until team is grown
