Job Description:

Specialty Enzymes and Biotechnologies is a rapidly growing enzyme manufacturer and distributor to a wide range of industries throughout the world.

We are currently recruiting for a SENIOR level microbiologist to perform Quality Control testing and analysis of enzyme products, raw materials and products contaminant and Bioburden testing for Yeast & Mold, standard plate count for E.coli, Coli, Salmonella, S.aureus, and coliform.

Maintain proper documentation and record keeping.

Knowledge of enzymology, strong background in Microbiology, knowledge of USP, FCC, FDA methods for microbial enumeration.

General knowledge of biology and scientific methods.

3-5 years experience required.

Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology, M.Sc. degree in Microbiology required, PhD preferred, or related science background/education.

BSL 2 experience needed, environmental monitoring and Aseptic lab experience, Probiotic enumeration, supervisory experience a plus.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, professional environment with diverse responsibilities and be a team player.
