In this job, you will provide oversight and guidance to employees performing in-depth analysis, developing recommendations, and providing consulting related to Distribution work methods, construction, and planning standards. As a Transmission & Distribution Construction Methods Manager, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone.     • Assists in the oversight, specifications, builds, and regulatory compliance of the Transmission & Distribution fleet.
    • Collaborates with Supply Chain Management developing and reviewing Bid Packages related to vehicles, tools, and equipment for T&D, and act as subject matter expert (SME) on various team and committees within SCE and throughout the utilities industry
    • Be engaged overseeing and participating in actual operations. Whether it is in program management, coaching and mentoring, process improvements, performance management or project support, the position will be highly involved in day to day operations.
    • Support T&D Construction Methods by collaborating with peers to determine business objectives related to internal staff and client driven needs.
    • Create and maintain a safety conscious work environment by leading and influencing others to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices. Collaborate with peers, across relevant business lines, to ensure consistency in safety, processes and procedures.
    • Resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.
    • Makes, recommends and/or approves employment decisions (e.g., hiring, promotion, appropriate pay, rewards/recognition, succession planning, and termination). Qualifications
      The essentials
      • Five or more years of supervisor and/or leadership experience. The preferred
        • Bachelor's Degree in applicable profession, business, engineering or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
        • Experience working in the Transmission & Distribution organization in a supervising function.
        • Experience working with internal and external partners and clients including executive leadership and/or regulators.
        • Work experience to include detailed knowledge of the Transmission & Distribution organization policies, standards, objectives, strategies, and goals.

          • Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
